CAPE TOWN'S BID FOR THE WORLD POULTRY CONGRESS 2026

MESSAGE FROM JOHAN DU PLESSIS

It is the goal of the South African Branch to actively promote the goals of the WPSA in South Africa for Education, Research, and Organisation to build and strengthen the industry.
We also believe that a successful bid will be beneficial to Africa as a continent, where the poultry industry is growing. The South African Poultry Industry is the largest single contributor to the South African agricultural industry.
Cape Town provides an award winning convention centre within easy reach of a range of accommodation establishments and famous attractions.
We are pleased to submit a bid for consideration to host the 2026 World's Poultry Congress in Cape Town, South Africa.

Kind regards
Johan du Plessis - Chairperson of the Local Organising Committee
